I read earlier this week that penalties for failure to follow quarantines can be up to $250,000 in fines and up to one year in prison.
This Massachusetts bill gives officials:
the right to enter private property
isolate or quarantine people
get and distribute meds or vaccines
$1000 day for each day quarantine not followed and up to 30 days in prison
